Product Information

  • Most common column cross section is 24″ x 24″.  Columns that span multiple levels or are subject to significant loading can be rectangular 24″ x 36″.  Thicker sections are available if required by project.
  • Columns have exterior corbels for framing bearing.  Corbels can protrude out past column section or column can have recesses for direct bearing.

Standard Design Options

  • Columns that are supporting our 12′-0″ wide double tees are optimal spaced on a 36′-0″ centers.
  • If column centers need to be adjusted less than 36′-0″, reducing the center by 12′-0″ increments will reduce formwork on double tee flange blockouts.
